The Cycle Of Life

Spring.
snow melts away,
dandelions pop up everywhere

Summer.
dandelions hide themselves under the earth
Farmer market offers fresh flowers

Autumn.
Leaves turn yellow,
and flowers are confined to shops.
People starts sweeping the fallen leaves.

Winter.
the season of death,
the season of snow,
the purest of them all.

Even mother earth cannot stop the seasons from ripping away her hard work. What are we to complain about as mere mortals?

Year after year, Gaia has to clear away the snow, nurture new plants, and watch it die away. Just like my relationship. Yet she never stopped working on her miracles. She never named it tedious work, she never procrastinated. She has plenty of time, infinite even, but she understood the importance of time. Time will never stop for anyone, not even her. She cannot afford to stop. The cycle never ends.

My Bright Blue Umbrella

Rainy days are depressing.

It stops you from getting out of bed;
It turns the world into a depressing shade of grey;
It made the floor all wet and slippery;
and it never stops once it starts raining in Madison.

During days like these, you need warmth and color to cheer yourself up.
Add a pop of color to make the world look happier.
Make a warm cup of coffee to keep yourself warm and comfortable.

In Madison, rainy days are rare and few in between. Gloomy as it can be, it brings life to the earth, it nourishes the plants, and it moisturizes the very air you breathe in.

Rain, is like every other depressing issues that you will encounter in life. It is depressing, but it is at the same time, a necessity.

Whatever doesn't kill you will just make you stronger.

And until you feel stronger, you just need to find a way to keep yourself warm and cheerful.
